The first concepts of quality were introduced in Japan, right after WWII. These
concepts of quality have since been adopted by several companies worldwide.
The term “Quality” refers to adequacy and compliance with the requirements
defined by relevant national and international standards, as well as meeting the
needs of consumers.
Everyone is responsible for carrying out their activities in a robust manner and
following previously defined practices, ensuring traceability of activities and
compliance with standards.
We can thus avoid the occurrence of non-conformities and ensure the safety,
quality and efficacy of our products.
At Butantan, all employees are responsible for meeting Quality standards,
always following the guidelines of the Quality Assurance, Quality Control and
Regulatory Affairs sectors.
